Challenges

Landrace had the chef, menu, and ingredients it needed to appeal to hotel guests and locals alike. However, McHugh recognized that one more ingredient was needed for the entire restaurant experience to mirror the pastoral beauty of his cuisine, so he turned to Singer to help translate and tell his story through a curated tabletop selection.

Solution

A team of Singer's tabletop experts worked alongside McHugh to bring his elevated steakhouse concept and bucolic inspiration to fruition. Together with his team, they developed design elements exclusively for Landrace that reflect McHugh's vision.

The anchor of the tabletop is a one-of-a-kind selection of porcelain from Figgjo Norway, including whiteware and custom decorated items featuring a shadow of various shades of khaki, olive, brown, and gold. This is complimented by highly textural patterns from Churchill and framed with brushed gold flatware from Steelite that's at once luxurious and down to earth, just like Landrace. An eclectic mix of glassware, including Luigi Bormioli from Bauscher Hepp and Chef and Sommelier from Cardinal, and mid-century inspired accessories from Cal-Mil complete this tabletop vision.
